The bathroom is comfortable and amenities like free tea and a small bottle of wine are provided. The balcony offers stunning views of the mountains and valley, making for a pleasant stay.

It had comfortable bed, views over the ocean

The view from the apartment was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning sunsets that made our New Year's experience even more memorable. The location was also convenient, with a short walk down the hill to the beach. the apartment was clean and well-supplied, providing us with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

There were a few drawbacks that affected our overall experience. This meant that we had to wash our dishes in the bathroom sink, which was not ideal.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we really enjoyed the stunning view from the balcony at Sunset Star. Watching the mountains and the valley was incredible, and the sunset was a highlight. the apartment had everything we needed for cooking, and there were nice cafes and shops within walking distance. It was also a convenient location for exploring the center and western part of Madeira.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The apartment was lovely and spacious, and the views of the mountains and sea were absolutely stunning. The place was spotless and had all the amenities I needed, including a hair dryer and a well-equipped kitchenette with a kettle and coffee/tea supplies. The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful, and there were two nearby supermarkets and some cafes within walking distance. The bus stops were also conveniently located just a few minutes away, making it easy to explore the area. this hotel was the perfect base for my walking holiday, with easy access to some of the levada walks.
